Douglas “Doug” Irish serves as Department Chair and Instructor for Fayetteville Technical Community College’s Collision Repair & Refinish Technology program (CollisionU). With more than 45 years in the collision repair industry, Doug brings deep experience in repair quality, estimating, training, and program performance. He spent 20 years with MetLife Auto & Home in leadership roles supporting technical development and repair program outcomes, and he is the CEO of AccuracyDriven4, Inc., a consulting firm that helps collision repair organizations strengthen quality assurance and results. Doug is a U.S. Army veteran and holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Saint Leo University. He also supports industry education through leadership roles with the Collision Industry Conference (CIC) and the Collision Repair Education Foundation (CREF). Doug also serves on the Board of Directors for the Carolina Collision Association, as well as a member of the I-CAR Industry Segment Committee representing the Education segment for collision repair.
